A modern expression of Gaelic culture in Nova Scotia.
Nova Scotia's identity is inseparable from its Gaelic roots. From the music of Cape Breton to the lasting influence of Scottish and Irish settlement, the province remains one of the strongest centres of Gaelic culture outside Europe.
Yet without meaningful, modern expressions of that culture, its presence risks fading from everyday life. Beltane is designed to address that directly through hospitality, atmosphere, and a strong sense of place.
Inspired by the ancient Celtic festival marking the arrival of summer, the event brings Nova Scotia, Ireland, and Scotland together through shared traditions told through food, drink, and music.
