Join Umani Ronchi’s Giacomo Sisti and sommelier Mark DeWolf for an evening in Abruzzo and the Marches. Enjoy five of their best wines, including the renowned Cùmaro and Pelago, paired with small plates inspired by these two Italian regions.
Umani Ronchi is a family-owned wine producer rooted in Marche and Abruzzo, with a particular focus on Verdicchio and Montepulciano. Its wines range from fresh, approachable regional expressions to structured, ageworthy bottlings such as Cùmaro and Pelago.
Giacomo Sisti represents Umani Ronchi internationally as its Export Manager, sharing the winery’s story and the wines of Marche and Abruzzo. His work connects wine lovers around the world with the distinctive character of Italy’s Adriatic coast.
Mark DeWolf is a Halifax-based sommelier, writer, and wine educator with more than 25 years in food and wine. A former National President of the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers and currently Content Manager for the Association de la Sommellerie, he brings a passion for Italian wine, regional cuisine, and the stories behind each bottle.
